The Jewish Center for Justice is joining the Jewish Public Affairs Committee of California and other coalition partners in support of AB 1468, a landmark bill to ensure that ethnic studies is taught appropriately in our schools – free from factually inaccurate and antisemitic content. We believe that education is a powerful tool for fostering a just, inclusive society, and every student deserves a curriculum rooted in historical fact, not hateful misrepresentations.

By standing behind AB 1468, we join Jewish groups, educators, and lawmakers in safeguarding our classrooms against misinformation and upholding the integrity of our shared history. Together, we are committed to combating antisemitism and promoting a future built on truth, respect, and understanding.

As a parent, I want to know that my child’s education is based on facts, not bias or misinformation. AB 1468 is critical to keeping antisemitic and factually inaccurate content out of our classrooms. Passing this bill won’t be easy—there’s strong opposition—but we have a responsibility to protect the integrity of our schools and the safety of our children.
