In response to Kanye West’s Super Bowl commercial, the Jewish Center for Justice has issued the following statement:
“The Jewish Center for Justice is outraged that a Super Bowl ad from Kanye West—an openly antisemitic figure—was allowed to air. The commercial directed viewers to a website selling only one item: a T-shirt with a swastika. Kanye’s hatred is not new. What’s shocking is the deafening silence.
“Where are the voices of non-Jewish leaders? Where is the swift condemnation we’d see if this targeted any other marginalized group? Imagine a Super Bowl ad promoting racism against Black communities or hate toward LGBTQ+, Latino, or Muslim groups. It wouldn’t have aired—so why is it acceptable when it targets Jews?
“Silence is complicity. This blatant act of hate was given a platform during the year’s biggest event, while people have faced consequences for far less. We call on faith leaders, elected officials, corporate executives, and influencers to speak out—not just because antisemitism is rising, but because unchecked hate threatens us all.
“Stand with us. Speak out. Because if this is tolerated, what comes next?”
