About Domaine de la Rivière
Marla and Geoff Bedrosian started their passion for wine in the early 90’s. Originally from New York City area, Geoff worked in Real Estate Investment Banking on Wall Street while Marla oversaw the Group Global Sales Team at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts for more than 25 years. In 2010, the couple decided they knew enough “to be dangerous” and planted a flag deeply rooted in a Pinot Noir vineyard in the Middle Reach Neighborhood of the Russian River Valley. Marla runs the day-to-day operations of Domaine de la Riviere and looks for every opportunity to partner with other women-owned businesses. The family is now producing less than 1,000 cases of wine annually and sharing their limited production hand crafted with JCJ to help fund programs and advocacy aimed at creating a more compassionate and just society.
“We believe that giving back to our community means partaking in initiatives that help other community members.  This philosophy guides us in so much that we do. The community in which we live propels our energies forward to ensure we are super focused on others around us. This sense guides us at Domaine de la Rivière, from the naming of our wines to the evolution of our community garden and the philanthropic endeavors that circle our family.” — Marla Bedrosian
